"CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! You're poem has been chosen of high merit to be selected for publication in An Anthology Of Young Poets 2007 edition. Why don't you tell us about your self. Who are your family? When did you start writing? How Long have you been writing? In short, who is Justin Dennis?"
"Well as you know, my name is Justin Dennis. But most of my friends call me Fuzz. I'm 18 and in my senior year at high school(thank god). I really enjoy writing. I can't really say how I got into it but I guess you can say that writing just came naturally to me. All I know is that I like doing it. I find that writing is the only way I can express myself and be creative and unique. It's also the one thing that I'm proud to say that I'm actually good at and will always be good at. I just can't stop myself when I touch a pen to a piece of paper. This includes short stories, poetry, screen plays, novels, comics and even my own songs. All though I can't come up with my own melody to a song, I am extremely good at writing lyrics.
I've been writing ever since I was in the 2nd or 3rd grade. I started out just making short stories and poorly drawn comics and then I slowly eased my way into the other stuff. I didn't too much care for poetry at first, seeing as I was so bad at it. But then when I got in 8th grade, I just fell in love with writing poetry. I even got one of my poems published back in 2007. But when it comes to making my own song lyrics, I find that I'm extremely good at that. Usually when I have a song stuck in my head and I can't get it out, so I just take the melody and music to the song and make my own words to it. It tends to come out as some of my best piece of work, as some will tell me. As for screen plays, I didn't get that into writing those until I was about 14 or 15. I never actually completed a whole screen play(mainly cause I'm too lazy to do so. You know how it is when you start something but can't be asked to finish it)but I'm gonna try and force myself to finish one.
Then comes novels and comics. I started making my own comics when I was in 3rd grade. They were badly drawn but it wasn't the drawings that I cared about, it was the words and the story that I wanted to do. The drawing part was just something that made it a bit more fun. As for novels, I didn't start writing those until I got into the 6th grade. My first novel being titled The Phoenix And The Carrier Pigeon. I never actually finished it but I'm getting around to it. But right now, I have a new novel on my hands. It's my own installment into the "Scream" trilogies. I titled it Scream: Return To Woodsboro. I know what you're thinking, it's not original. But hey, the story it's self is actually really good.
I also enjoy bowling. I was actually on a bowling team when I was living in Chicago for those seven long, horrible, annoying, months. I started out being terrible at bowling but as time went on, I got better. Not a lot better, but better non the less. I haven't bowled since then except for one time. I would go back out and bowl seeing as my bowling ball and shoes are just taking up a bunch of space in my tiny closet.
But that's enough about my hobbies. Let me tell you a bit about my family. I live with my mom. She can get on my nerves at time(usually most of the time) but I love her. It's hard not to love some one who can put up with taking care of me for my whole life. I also have two brothers. My oldest brother, Marcus, just had a set of twins(Aryanna & Allyssa) with his girlfriend a few months ago. Then comes my other brother Corey. He just turned 21 and he thinks that the world revolves around him. Of course he's been thinking that ever since he was born. He definitely gets on my nerves. But he's fun to be around and I love my family anyways.
